Springing into New Opportunities!

Hi everyone, and welcome back to my blog! It's been a while since my last blog post, so I've decided to jump on here and share all of the exciting opportunities and experiences that I am looking forward to this semester!

TeachAg! Belize

This semester, I have been selected as part of a small group that is enrolled in a course titled AEE499: Indigenous Knowledge and Agricultural Education. This course includes an immersion experience to Belize where I will have the opportunity to explore formal and non-formal education about agriculture through indigenous populations with multi-lingual cultures.

As I go through this course, I am very excited to experience different program structures and discover effective strategies for engaging multilingual students and their families in my future career. Be sure to check back to my blog soon for more updates on this experience!

Finding my Cooperating Center

This semester, I will also be taking some big steps to finding my cooperating center, where I will be student teaching in the Spring of 2024. This process requires me to visit various cooperating centers in order to determine what three programs I think will be a best fit for me during my student teaching experiences. As I go through this process, I will be sure to continue updating my blog to document this experience!
